 ACTION 3.1.2 Training Course EVS IS LIFE 04 – 10th JUNE 2013, MUĞLA/TURKEY Project name: “EVS IS LIFE“ Project dates: 04 – 10th June 2013 Place: Muğla / TURKEY Organization: MUĞLA GENÇLİK HİZMETLERİ VE SPOR İL MÜDÜRLÜĞÜ Participants: Participants will be involved in the project from Greece, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Spain, Georgia, Latvia, Turkey, Belarus, Ukraine. Summary "EVS is LIFE" is a training course which will take place on 4-10 June 2013 in Muğla/Turkey. From 11 different organization, 2 person per organization will participate to the training which will let EVS organizations get together. Including trainers and supporting staff, 25 person will attend this project. The target audience of the project are workers and volunteers of the organizations who hold EVS activities, EVS coordinators, mentors and potential EVS candidates. The target of the project are, raising the quality and variety of EVS and founding new strategies for it. We are also intending to getting EVS organizations which are neighbors to Europe with their European colleagues together to make new partnerships and spreading EVS. English will be project language. The project sessions will be realized with non-formal technics and each participant will actively participate in the project. ^ Our training course will be non-formal learning. It means that learning is based on your experience, your motivation and your needs. During the exchange Non-formal education methods and methods that assure balance between theory and practice will be used such as presentations, group works, workshops, games, role plays, exercises etc Who can participate in the project:
Transportation Arrival: 04th of June during day until 04:00 pm. Departure: 10th of June (You will have only breakfast). How to reach Muğla? You should take a flight to Bodrum airport, because it is the nearest airport that we will use for transportation. About transportation from the airport we will inform you after collecting all participants’ flights information. Muğla: Muğla is a city in south-western Turkey. It is the center of the district the same name, as well as of Muğla Province, which stretches along Turkey´s Aegean coast. Muğla center is situated inland at an altitude of 660 m and lies at a distance of about 30 km (19 mi) from the nearest seacoast in the Gulf of Gökova to its south-west. Muğla district area neighbors the district areas of Milas, Yatağan and Kavaklıdere to its north by north-west and those of Ula and Köyceğiz, all of whom are depending districts. Muğla is the administrative capital of a province that incorporates internationally well-known and popular tourist resorts such as Bodrum, Marmaris and Fethiye.   Accommodation We are still looking an accommodation place. We are going to inform you. When we have agreement with accommodation place, we are going to send you the website link of the hotel. ^ Thıs traınıng course is implemented with financial support from the European Commission and the Youth in Action Programme. Accommodation, food, as well as activities costs will be covered from the project budget. It is recommendable to get a travel insurance but it will not be covered by the project budget. Travel expenses will be covered in amount of 70% after collecting travel documents on condition that the participants use the cheapest ways of transportation and submitted original invoices for plane tickets, boarding passes, train and bus tickets. Taxi and first class tickets will not be reimbursed. In order to receive the reimbursement, the participants should arrive in Muğla no later than 04th June at 23:59 and depart from Muğla no earlier than 10th June 2013 at 06:00. Participants may stay in Turkey up to 3 additional days in total before or after the training course. Costs related to the stay for additional days are on the participants own expenses. ^ Please keep the boarding passes from your airport check in as well. Reimbursement will be done in EURO, regardless of the currency indicated on your ticket and receipt/invoice. ! Note: Please make the copies (better scan or take photographs) of your tickets and invoices before you will come to the training. Email those to us (evsislife@gmail.com) as soon as you buy them. If you have tickets and invoice, make sure that you e-mailed copies of both. ^ 500€ per person from Spain 350€ per person from Ukraine 450€ per person from Latvia 400€ per person from Georgia 400€ per person from Belarus 300€ per person from Azerbaijan 450€ per person from Armenia 400€ per person from Greece ^ For example: If you buy flight ticket Vilnius – Istanbul- Bodrum (both ways) as a one ticket – all taxes will be covered and you will be reimbursed 70% of travel cost. But if you will buy flight tickets Vilnius – Istanbul, and other ticket Istanbul – Bodrum – 18% tax will apply and it will not be covered. TICKETS CAN BE BOUGHT ONLY AFTER 1st of MAY!! Documents:
Health insurance: Health insurance is not provided and will not be reimbursed by the organizers. All participants are strongly advised to purchase private travel insurance. Information needed: Application forms of participants until 15th of May 2013. If you have any requires regarding the food (vegetarians, diabetics, diets). If you have an allergy please inform before!
